If you actively use the standard "Notes" on the iPhone or iPad, then you probably know about the additional functions of the application - the ability to add tables, handwritten diagrams and drawings, as well as photos and videos. There is even a document scanner in the application! And while these ways of illustrating information make notes much clearer, sometimes you need to save something in the phone's memory. Here's how to do it.

How to save a separate file

It is very easy to do this:

1. Tap and hold the desired file until the context menu appears.
2. Select Share.
3. Scroll down to Save Image / Video.

How to save all files to the gallery

If you don't want to manually transfer photos, videos, and documents every time, you can set up automatic export of everything you capture through Notes to the Photos app. For this:

1. Open "Settings" → "Notes".
2. Scroll down to Multimedia.
3. Move the slider next to "Save to Photo" in the active position.

How to add a file to a note

If you've never illustrated your notes, but want to try it out, it's not difficult at all:

1. In the note, click on the camera icon.
2. Select the type of media you want to add: a new photo or video, a file from the gallery or a scanned document.
3. Drag the file to the desired location in the note.
