Today I want to tell you about a very cool service for maintaining lists -. To the first part of the review of note-taking applications, a link to Workflowy was thrown in the comments. At the very beginning, you are left alone with a blank sheet of paper. And it's not entirely clear what to do about it. Try to start by listing what you do in your life. You can use Workflowy to or use it like a ToDO sheet. For this review, I almost completely cleared my Workflowy, and I will show you everything by my example. I will create a sheet from scratch and show my usage model.
If you look at the list, it becomes obvious that you can combine everything into more global groups. To go to the page of an item, just click on the marker of this item. To do this, move the cursor to the desired item, click on the cross that appears and drag it to the desired item in the program. Another option is to press Tab. To see all available shortcuts, you need to press "Ctrl +?". New subitems can be added in several ways. Directly from the main sheet by pressing Enter on the sub-item of the desired item. Or you can go to the item page and add a new sub-item there.
The lists can literally be endless. You can add notes to paragraphs / sub-paragraphs (Shift + Enter), make the text bold or italic. You can use Workflowy as a ToDO list, and here the ability to cross off items (with the ability to show or hide completed items) comes in handy. It is also possible to add tags, which allows you to mark notes from different points, but on the same topic (for example, a Coursera course is the same as an Html sub-item in Layout).
You can export each item with all sub-items, share the item with someone or make a copy. The note search works well, you can go to it by pressing Escape. It is possible to add pages to favorites. There is a premium version which I think is too expensive ($ 5 / mo). By paying for Workflowy, you will get an endless list of sheets, backups, themes and fonts, plus a couple more chips. When registering, you can create 250 sheets / month. By (my referral) you will immediately receive +250. And for each friend you invite, you will receive another 250 sheets / month.
