Chicken fillet is one of the best and most inexpensive sources of protein. There is also a lot of protein in spinach and champignons (2, 9 and 4, 3 grams), a lot of potassium and phosphorus. In addition, spinach contains a lot of vitamin C - more than citrus fruits.

This healthy dish can be eaten alone or paired with whole grain pasta or a fried vegetable mix.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken fillets;
  • 4 cups spinach
  • ½ cup of champignons;
  • 3 tablespoons of cheddar;
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil;
  • 1 tablespoon thyme
  • ½ teaspoon of paprika;
  • salt and pepper to taste.

Preparation

  1. Pour a tablespoon of vegetable oil into the pan.
  2. Cut the mushrooms into slices. Add thyme, salt and pepper, sauté a little.
  3. Add spinach, fry with mushrooms, stirring occasionally.
  4. Season the chicken fillet with salt and pepper on both sides, making cuts 1, 5–2 centimeters apart.
  5. Fill the incisions with the fried mushrooms and spinach.
  6. Place the stuffed breasts in a baking dish, sprinkle with paprika and cheese.
  7. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Chicken with spinach and mushrooms is ready. Bon Appetit!
