XD Design has started fundraising on Kickstarter for the production of new models of Bobby backpacks. They are called Tech and Pro, and the developer is now raising money to release them.

The design of the new backpacks is very similar to the original Bobby. The bags are still waterproof, have small card holders, and are made of a very dense and recyclable material.

Inside the backpacks, as in previous models, there are many pockets for various gadgets and things. New features include additional strap fasteners for mugs and smartphones.

A distinctive feature of Bobby Tech is the presence of solar panels and a wireless charging module. The smartphone can be charged directly in the bag if the weather is good.

The Bobby Pro will be priced at 75 euros during the fundraising campaign on Kickstarter, and 90 euros at retail. The Tech model is more expensive: 150 and 180 euros, respectively.

The first Bobby backpack was released in 2016 through a Kickstarter and Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign. 10 thousand people took part in the fundraising and raised 872 thousand pounds.
