Everything is very, very simple! You need peanuts, honey, vegetable oil, some salt, and a food processor.

We recently tasted peanut butteror rather a pasta that goes well with lightly toasted toasted bread. Since buying this pasta is not a cheap pleasure, I decided to look for the recipe on my favorite culinary sites. And I found;)

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups peeled and toasted peanuts
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3-4 tablespoons of vegetable oil (peanut oil is preferable, but if you have refined sunflower oil, it will work too).

Cooking. Pour the nuts into a food processor or blender and start grinding.

Since I like pieces of nuts to come across in the pasta, I sprinkled a little when they were ground fine enough (like a chop). At this stage, add oil and continue grinding.

When the paste is almost smooth, add the honey and salt and turn the food processor back on.

At the very end, add the pending nuts and mix.

If you add up the processing time in the processor, then the nuts should be ground to a paste state for about 7 minutes.

If you have sesame oil, you can add one tablespoon of sesame and two tablespoons of refined sunflower for a very interesting flavor.

Transfer the finished paste to a jar. Refrigeration is optional, especially if you intend to deal with it within a week.

It turns out very tasty and satisfying. And most importantly, you know for sure that there are no preservatives, flavors and other not very useful ingredients in this paste.
