Co-op adventures are perfect fun for a Halloween party.
1. Left 4 Dead 2
Platforms: PC, Xbox One.
Four completely different people are forced to survive during the zombie apocalypse. They will have to go through several locations like a huge amusement park and a small town, meet other survivors and kill a lot of zombies.
Left 4 Dead 2 is a shooter from the Valve studio in which you need to move from one hideout to another, exploring locations along the way and fighting off the dead. Thanks to the "Director" system, which places useful items and weapons on the locations of enemies, depending on the behavior of the players, each playthrough is different from the previous one.

2. The Forest
Platforms: PC.
The Forest is a survival simulator that can be played with up to eight people. In the story, the characters are wrecked on a small island and must hold out until help arrives. It soon turns out that a terrible tribe of cannibals lives on the island.
Enemies create additional stress when gathering resources. Their behavior is chaotic: they can either stand at a distance or suddenly attack - one by one or all at once. It is intimidating and discouraging even when playing with friends. And as you progress, players will encounter even more terrifying creatures that live in the deep caves of the island.

3. Dead by Daylight
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One.
Action with asymmetric multiplayer - four teenagers try to escape from one killer with superhuman strength and endurance. Survivors must fire multiple generators to win. This is a tricky task because the levels are procedurally created and it takes a few minutes to run one generator.
The most interesting thing about Dead by Daylight is the need to make decisions all the time. Try to start the generator or run away? Save a friend or leave? The game creates dozens of difficult situations in which you have to quickly react and adapt.

4. Killing Floor 2
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One.
In Killing Floor 2, players need to fend off zombies and other evil spirits that are advancing in waves. For each killed monster they give money - you can buy weapons or cartridges with them.
The difficulty increases with each wave, and there are more and more opponents. Bosses periodically appear - powerful enemies, each of which needs a special approach. The main thing in Killing Floor 2 is cooperation and mutual assistance, because one by one the survivors will not last long.

5. Obscure
Platforms: PC.
Obscure is a series of two games about teenagers who face creepy monsters first at school and then at university. The gameplay of both parts of the game resembles the first parts of Resident Evil and Silent Hill. You need to study the environment, collect items, solve riddles and fight enemies.
Obscure has a lot of really violent and bloody scenes. It's better to play games with a friend, sitting at the same computer - it's easier and more fun.

6. Dead Space 3
Platforms: PC, Xbox One.
By the third part, the Dead Space series has completely ceased to scare, but has acquired a cooperative. Now you can solve physics puzzles and shoot the limbs of necromorphs together with a friend.
And if you add to this the ability to create your own guns and change costumes, as well as a story about saving humanity, you get one of the most exciting cooperative action games in the industry.

7. Cry of Fear
Platforms: PC.
Cry of Fear is a free psychological horror game that grew out of the mod for the first Half-Life. The co-op campaign here differs from the single one: these are two different stories that only connect the scene.
Players here will have to travel through the captured by otherworldly forces of Stockholm. On the way, they will encounter terrible creatures resembling monsters from the Silent Hill series. Cry of Fear always keeps you in suspense: there are few cartridges, darkness is around, enemies are waiting somewhere around the corner - in a word, fun.
