  • ½ bell pepper;
  • ½ hot pepper;
  • 2 tomatoes.

For meat filling:

  • 300 g of beef;

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (each weighing about 125 g);
  • salt, ground black pepper - to taste;
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cucumber;
  • 2 shallots;
  • 1 chili pepper;
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • a pinch of sugar;

For the sauce:

  • ½ bunch of cilantro;
  • ½ bunch of mint;
  • 8-9 tablespoons of natural yoghurt.

Preparation

Rub the fillets with pepper and salt (leave the skin intact) and drizzle with oil. Preheat a skillet, place the fish skin side down on it and cook over medium heat for 8-9 minutes. Then turn the fish over and immediately turn off the heat: the fillet should reach with the residual heat.

In the meantime, make the sauce. Set aside a few cilantro twigs, tear off the rest of the leaves and chop them along with the mint leaves. Mix herbs with yogurt.

Cut the cucumber into thin slices, finely chop the onion and pepper. Combine vegetables in a bowl, add vinegar, sugar, a pinch of salt and stir.

Cut the prepared fish into large cubes, spread over the tortillas, season with sauce, add the vegetable mixture and the delayed cilantro. It is not necessary to fold fish shawarma - you can simply serve it on a plate.

Before preparing any of the options, see how to properly roll the shawarma. Lifehacker's video instruction shows three methods at once.

And if, after all the experiments, you want something familiar and dear, you can always return to the traditional recipe.
