"Peng: A Journey to Neverland" is a story about a young orphan whose name is known to adults and children. Director Joe Wright (Atonement, Anna Karenina) has decided to tackle the classic tale of a boy who finds himself in a magical land. This is a free prequel to the novel of the same name by James Barry.

The film, unfortunately, did not gain fame. With a budget of $ 150 million, the picture managed to collect only 128 million at the worldwide box office. Critics called the film a big mistake and accused the creators of not understanding at all what a family fairy tale should look like.

The assault on this vessel was unsuccessful, but the attackers managed to capture Captain Phillips.

The film was warmly received both by the public, which praised Tom Hanks' strong work, and by critics. As a result, the picture got 6 nominations for the "Oscar", and fees with a budget of $ 55 million amounted to almost 220 million.
