How to remove mustard stains from clothes

1. First, scrape off any excess seasoning from the fabric. It is convenient to do this with a spoon or a plastic card. Try to carefully peel off the mustard so that it does not smear and soak deeper into the fibers.
2. Dampen a paper towel or rag with water and blot the stained area. This will not remove it, but will make the process easier.
3. Use a sponge to dab some rubbing alcohol or ammonia on the stain, then rinse well under the tap.
4. If there are marks, use an enzyme-based stain remover or liquid detergent. Rub lightly with your fingers or a soft bristled brush to penetrate deeper into the fabric and leave for at least 15 minutes. Then wash the item as usual.
5. If that still doesn't work, dilute the oxygen bleach in the water following the instructions on the package. Soak the item for 4 hours, preferably overnight. After soaking, wash as usual.
