Facial masks are an easy and quick way to improve skin condition. But everyone has their own characteristics, preferences or even allergies, so purchased masks are not suitable for everyone. In addition, some of them can seriously hit the wallet. There is a solution - to make masks and scrubs at home. Most of the ingredients can be purchased at a pharmacy or grocery store near your home.

1. Oatmeal mask

One of the most popular and at the same time easy to prepare masks. Oatmeal will help cleanse the skin, working not only as an absorbent, but also as a scrub, while banana and oil will moisturize the skin and give it freshness.

Equipment:

  • a bowl;
  • microwave or water bath;
  • coffee grinder or mortar;
  • fork;
  • spoon.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons of oatmeal (you can buy regular oatmeal and grind it to a state of flour);
  • half a ripe banana;
  • 3 teaspoons of coconut oil.

Preparation

Melt butter in the microwave until liquid. Add oatmeal to it and mix well. Mash half a banana with a fork and combine all the ingredients.

Thanks to coconut oil, mask leftovers can live in the refrigerator for up to three weeks, so it's okay if there are surpluses left. If you want to use them, take the mask out of the refrigerator in advance: coconut oil hardens in the cold.

2. Mint chocolate mask

One of the most "delicious" masks. Smells of mint and chocolate will help you wake up in the morning, while foaming Moroccan clay will help clear your skin before bed. Talc is an excellent absorbent and thickener. This mask is ideal for those with problematic oily skin prone to redness and inflammation, as well as for anyone who just loves chocolate.

Equipment:

  • two bowls;
  • spoon;
  • microwave or water bath.

Ingredients:

  • 2 teaspoons of Moroccan clay
  • 1 teaspoon of glycerin;
  • 1 teaspoon talcum powder
  • 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder
  • 4 teaspoons of cocoa butter;
  • 5 drops of peppermint oil (curly or peppermint).

Preparation

Melt the cocoa butter in a water bath or microwave. While it is heating, mix dry ingredients and add glycerin to them. Mix everything well and the mask is ready.

3. Piquant Corn Cleanser

A product for those who want to cleanse, but not dry out the skin. By the way, it is suitable not only for the face, but also for the whole body. If you are tired of the floral-fruity scents of cosmetics, this peeling is definitely for you.

Equipment:

  • spoon;
  • two bowls;
  • pot.

Ingredients:

  • 3 teaspoons cornmeal
  • 3 teaspoons of corn grits;
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons of glycerin;
  • 1 teaspoon talcum powder
  • 1 teaspoon corn oil
  • some water.

Preparation

Boil the corn grits and drain. In a bowl, mix the cinnamon and glycerin thoroughly to avoid lumps. Mix talc and flour, add cinnamon-glycerin mixture, butter, and then boiled cereal. Add just enough water to be absorbed into the mixture, stir again - and use with pleasure.

You can wait until the scrub has cooled, or you can use it warm, which will only improve the penetration of nutrients into the skin. Plus it can always be warmed up before use.

Please note: Natural products are best stored in sealed containers in the refrigerator so they can be reused multiple times. By the way, you can take jars of used purchased funds for storage - recycling in action.
