How to quickly crop a photo on iPhone without connecting to a computer

I think every smartphone owner uses it in full, not only as a means of communication, but also plays games, uses applications, “wanders” on the global web and, of course, takes pictures. Probably, the latter could just be put at the top of this list, because the number of fans of the so-called “mobile photography” is growing from year to year. Beginners often encounter problems when processing photos. And the biggest one is resizing the original image.

In fact, everything is simple. In order to resize the photo you have taken, no special editor applications are required. Moreover, for this you do not even need to connect your smartphone to your computer to edit the image on it. All this can be easily done on the smartphone itself. And here's how:

1. Open the Photos app.

2. Select the photo you want to edit.

3. In the upper right corner, click the "Change" button.

4. At the bottom, click on the rightmost "Crop" icon.

5a. You can now resize the image by simply pulling on one of the four corners of the grid.

5b. If you want to give the image a certain shape with the given dimensions, click the "Format" button in the bottom center and select the required size.

6. Once you are done with "fitting" the image, in the upper right corner, click the "Crop" button.

7. If you are satisfied with the result, click on the "Save" button.

That's all. Your cropped photo will be saved to your photo album, from where you can send it by email, iMessage, share it on social media, or print it on a wireless printer. And all this without resorting to third-party editors, right on your smartphone.
