How to make a classic envelope
What do you need
- A4 sheet of paper;
- scissors;
- glue.
How to do
Cut a square out of paper. Enclose one corner to the opposite. Press down on the paper in the middle with your finger, without bending it completely.
Unfold the paper and connect the other two opposite corners in the same way.
Unfold the shape and place it at an upward angle.
Fold the left corner of the shape towards the middle.
Then fold the right one.
Fold the top of the shape so that it touches the sides of the side triangles.
Unfold the top flap. Fold the bottom up so that the corner touches the fold.
Fold down a small corner. Its sides should be in line with the sides of the side triangles.
Unfold the bottom of the envelope completely. Glue the undersides of the side triangles and the whole small one. See the video for details.
Fold the small triangle back up and glue it to the paper.
Fold up and glue the entire bottom of the envelope.

This video shows you how to make an elongated envelope from a whole sheet of paper:
How to make a classic origami envelope without glue
What do you need
- A4 sheet of paper;
- scissors.
How to do
Cut a square out of paper. Fold it in half to make a triangle. Unfold and fold in half again, joining other opposite corners.
Place the triangle with the fold down. Fold the top front corner to the fold.
Place the upper back corner on the front one, as shown in the photo.
Fold the right side corner to the left. The widest side of the resulting triangle should touch the side of the shape from the previous step.
Fold the left side corner of the shape in the same way.
Enclose one corner of the side triangle in the other.
The whole process is clearly shown in this video:

How to make a simple envelope from a heart
What do you need
- A4 sheet of paper;
- pencil;
- scissors;
- glue.
How to do
Fold the sheet across in half. Draw a half heart with the center on the fold of the paper. Cut out the shape.
Expand the heart. Fold the sides towards the middle of the shape as shown in the photo.
Fold up the top of your heart.
Fold down the flap of the resulting envelope.
Glue the sides to the bottom to keep it from falling apart.
How to make an envelope with a flap and rectangular clasp using origami technique without glue
What do you need
A4 sheet of paper
How to do
Fold the sheet across in half. Fold the front down to the resulting fold. Fold the same part up to a new fold.
Unfold the front and fold the bottom edge of the paper toward the fold. In order not to get confused, watch the video tutorial below.
Fold the resulting strip up.
Now cover it with the top of the sheet.
Put the top back in place and fold the bottom corners of the figure to the strip.
Fold the right side of the shape to the left along one side of the small triangle.
Fold the left side in the same way and put it back. A small rectangle outline appears above the center fold. Fold the top of the paper so that the fold connects the bottom-right and top-left corners of the shape. Do not fold the sheet completely. Do the same with the right side of the future envelope.
Unfold the bottom corners of the shape and the folded front.
Fold the sides of the front of the paper towards the middle, expanding the small triangles at the bottom. See the video for a detailed process.
Bend the part in the middle down the fold. Fold the sides of the paper towards the center.
Fold the bottom triangles under the folds. Fold over the top corners as shown in the photo.
Unfold the top corners and place them under the center piece.
Close the envelope by sliding the flap under the strip at the front.

A very unusual envelope with a figured flap:
This cute envelope will need glue to attach the clasp and scissors to cut out the base. The required dimensions are given in the video:
How to make an envelope with origami figures
What do you need
- A4 sheet of paper;
- pencil;
- glue.
How to do
Attach one corner of the paper diagonally to the opposite side. Mark with a pencil the places around the edges where the narrow side of the sheet is. You do not need to completely fold the paper.
Fold the narrow side towards the pencil marks.
Unfold and then fold the same edge to the resulting fold.
Fold the paper in half lengthways with the right side out.
Bend and bend the corners to the resulting line from the front side.
Flip the paper over and fold the corner to the impromptu line where the pencil marks are.
Flip the paper over to the right side again. Unfold the strips and make triangles as shown in the photo.
Fold the top squares diagonally. Fold the resulting small corners down to the fold.
Flip the paper over. At the top, you will get a heart. Fold the sides of the paper towards it.
Fold the flap with the figure up and fold the bottom of the paper towards the fold.
Glue the envelope from the inside to the sides.
