Explore magical worlds together, rob banks or try to cook the most delicious dish in the world.
Many games are difficult - sometimes overwhelming. Going through them alone, especially after a busy day, can seem like a daunting task. Fortunately, there are cooperative projects: in them all difficulties can be dealt with together with friends.
1. Sea of Thieves
Platforms: PC, Xbox One.
You are going to gather a team of pirates, board a ship and embark on an unforgettable sea adventure. There is not too much content in the project yet, but the developers are constantly adding something new to it.
However, Sea of Thieves is not primarily about killing skeletons and finding treasures, but about interacting with people. Everything here serves a single purpose: to create interesting situations.
You can, for example, chatter a stranger through voice chat so that the rest of the team secretly take out everything they have acquired by back-breaking labor from his ship. And while wandering around one of the many islands in search of items for assignments, there is an opportunity to bump into a group of aggressive players.
And nothing beats the feeling when you sail on a small boat and suddenly notice an enemy galleon rushing towards you at full speed.

2. Overcooked
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch.
Players take control of four chefs. They need to quickly prepare dishes from the ingredients scattered here and there, and also serve them on the table.
The catch is that the action takes place in completely unusual locations. In one of the levels, the kitchen is located on the roofs of two trucks overtaking each other. The other is an incredibly slippery iceberg.
You can't play Overcooked on the Internet, but yelling at friends sitting next to you, getting under your feet while you try to chop a salad, is still a pleasure.

3. Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch.
A cartoon game that can be played in a group of up to four people. You need to fly a spaceship across colorful levels and rescue various creatures from captivity.
The ship is divided into several compartments. One is responsible for movement, the other for weapons, the third for shields, and so on. There are always more compartments than players, so you have to rush headlong from one to another. An exciting and very funny sight.

4. Divinity: Original Sin 2
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One.
A classic fantasy RPG with all that it implies: a rather complex leveling system, a lot of dialogues and tactical battles. The main difference from other similar projects is that the game is tailored for cooperative passage.
However, it is not necessary to unite. If there is such a desire, you can in every possible way interfere with each other to complete tasks and advance along the storyline. This makes playing really fun.

5. Portal 2
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360.
Continuation of a wonderful puzzle, the main gameplay element of which is a portal gun. This is a device that creates holes in matter, between which you can move.
The second part is better than the first in everything: it has more varied puzzles, an even cooler plot and a sea of new mechanics. One of the main innovations is the ability to play with a friend.
The cooperative mode stands apart from the single one: it has completely different levels, due to the presence of not one, but two characters - funny robots. Because of this, the passage becomes more difficult, but you get much more pleasure from each solved puzzle.

6. Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android.
Together with a friend, you have to defuse bombs one after another. One gives instructions, the other carries them out.
Each bomb has tons of buttons and labels that fit into several puzzles. The sapper tells the instructor where and what is, and he looks for possible solutions in a special manual.
Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes supports virtual reality headsets - they are the most fun to play with. But you can just sit down with a laptop opposite a friend who will frantically search for suitable buttons in the printed instructions so that you meet the specified time.

7. Destiny 2
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One.
Bungie first created one of the best shooters in history called Halo, and then released Destiny, a multiplayer shooter / RPG hybrid. In the second part of the grandiose space opera, the studio rethought and improved everything that players loved in the original.
The sequel features an epic storyline, an endless race for ever-cooler gear, and exciting quests to play with other people - ideally with friends. And if you want to show your comrades where the crayfish winter, you can take part in competitive battles.

8. Left 4 Dead 2
Platforms: PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One.
The oldest game on the list, but still popular. Until now, there are very few projects in which you can find such a driving and fun cooperative.
Left 4 Dead 2 is a shooter in which you and your friends fight your way through hordes of zombies over several story campaigns. The AI Director technology is responsible for the variety of gameplay, which changes the location of the living dead and objects according to the behavior of the players.
All this is complemented by thoughtful locations and a variety of missions, each of which has a unique theme, whether it is escaping from a shopping center or trying to cross a bridge teeming with hundreds of decomposing walkers.

9. Payday 2
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch.
Everyone loves good robbery movies, but there are very few games on this topic. Payday 2 is one of the few such projects.
It lacks a clear narrative - only a wide range of missions for four players in which you need to loot jewelry stores, rob banks and steal armored vehicles. For passing them, they give money and experience points so that you can improve weapons and buy masks.
The game has gathered around itself a huge community of fans, so robberies in it can be found for every taste and color - one is more interesting than the other.

10. Monster Hunter: World
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One.
For many years, the Monster Hunter series was popular mostly in Japan and is only available on specific platforms. Everything changed with the release on modern consoles, and then on the PC of the last part.
The main goal in Monster Hunter: World is to kill monsters of different shapes and sizes. Each of them has their own habits, as well as strengths and weaknesses, so everyone has to look for their own approach.
Fortunately, you can hunt them with your friends. Fights with monsters are chaotic, so help will not hurt in any case. During each battle, you have to think about tactics, and in this regard, in co-op the game is revealed to the fullest.
