How to draw an angel with a marker

What do you need

• Paper;
• black marker.

How to draw

Draw a bangs with two diverging, slightly curved downward lines, connect its edges in a semicircle - this is the lower part of the head.

Place the round eyes just under the bangs. Paint over them, leaving the pupils white.

Above the bangs, stepping back a little up, start a curved line, take it down and to the right, connect to the head. This is half of the hair.

Add the other half of the hairstyle in the same way and draw a dress with diverging lines. Leave some space for your hands between your hair and dress.

Where you provided space in the previous step, draw triangular sleeves, and between them a collar, similar to the letter W.

Draw the rounded lines of the arms from the sleeves, mark the palms with strokes. Draw the legs in the same way.

About where the bangs meet the rest of the hair, start the wing line. It rises slightly, and then smoothly goes down and to the side, ending in wavy feathers. Draw the second wing as well.

How to draw an angel with paints

What do you need

• Thick paper;
• brushes;
• gouache;
• a glass of water;
• palette or plate;
• plastic bag or film.

How to draw

Dampen the paper and start dots and blots on it with blue paint and water.

Continue filling the sheet in the same way: with blue paint around the edges and yellow dots closer to the center.

Put cellophane on the still damp paint and smooth it, you don't need to press hard. This technique will create texture, the background of the picture will become more interesting.

Remove the cellophane and let the drawing dry completely.

Draw the diverging lines of the dress with white gouache on a dried background, it resembles a slightly curved trapezoid. Make the bottom edge a little wavy, there will be ruffles. Put the paint in a translucent layer to make the dress airy.

Paint over the dress with wide lines from top to bottom: later we will make folds from these lines. Draw sleeves that look like curved triangles. One is directed to the side, and the other rises diagonally up: in this hand, the angel will hold a trumpet.

Add wings. They resemble leaves in shape and they already need an opaque layer of paint.

Decorate the dress with pleats and ruffles. To do this, draw long white lines extending downward, and add short strokes along the hem.

Decorate the bottom and sleeves of the dress with small dots and free lines, as shown in the picture, imitating lace.

Mix white gouache with ocher and draw an oval head on the angel's shoulders. Fill it thickly with dots of paint, depicting curls. On the left on the hair, put a few lighter points: there the moon shines on the hair.

Mix orange and white paint and draw a long triangle pointing towards the head. Make its sides slightly curved inward, depicting a pipe played by an angel. Add a handle.

Stir in more white so that you get a body color. Sketch out the arms and legs of the angel, literally with one wide stroke each. Add a highlight to the pipe with the same paint.

Draw the month to the left of the angel in yellow with the addition of white. Use white paint to place dots in the center of the yellow spots of the background, depicting the stars. Add a few more stars of different sizes on a blue background.

Draw the rays to the sides from the largest stars, it is easier to do this with semi-liquid paint. Start drawing a winter landscape at the bottom left: use a few white lines to mark the snow.

Draw the outlines of the trees in rounded movements, outline the blanks of the houses with colored rectangles.

Draw a wide white line over each house to represent the snow-covered roof. Draw light yellow windows and brown tree trunks.

Draw white paths among the snowdrifts and near the houses, depict a hedge, similar in shape to rails with sleepers.

Draw an oval halo above the angel's head. Take a brush of liquid white paint and sprinkle small drops on the drawing, simulating snow. Find details here:

How to draw an angel with pencils

What do you need

• Paper;
• a simple 2B pencil;
• a simple 8B pencil;
• blending stump or soft napkin;
• round shape (lid or coin);
• a soft eraser, preferably with a sharp end (you can cut off a regular one);
• graphite powder (optional);
• white gel pen (optional).

How to draw

With pencil 2B, draw an upward-curved arc to form the head. Below, mark the bangs with a wave and a long stroke - the border of the hair on the other side.

Draw the lower part of the head, a thin neck extending from it and dashes-shoulders.

From the shoulders downward, direct the outer contours of the arms. Draw an arc under the neck of the dress collar, and below it draw folded palms. Near the left (in relation to you) palm with a line similar to a step, draw a blank for the sleeve.

Draw a part of the sleeve on the other arm with the same line. Then draw the bottom outlines and both sleeves under the palms.

Draw a dress with diverging lines. At the bottom, connect them with a wavy hem.

Draw two straight lines from the angel's hairstyle to the sides, from them lower the contour of the wings in a wavy arc to the waist.

Draw a horizontal line on each wing. Draw in circles for the eyes, the upturned nose in a small semicircle, and a smile. Add a halo above the angel's head, consisting of two ovals - one within the other.

Paint over the eyes, leaving white highlights of the pupils and whites of the eyes that look like crescents. Draw the eyelashes and eyebrow.

Use pencil 8B to draw shadows under the hair, along the parting and in the folds of the dress.

Draw shadows on the wings to simulate feathers.

Press a round shape to the paper, walk along its contour with graphite powder and blend it. If there is no powder, you can do the same with a soft pencil.

With graphite powder or a soft pencil, draw clouds under the angel, blend. To give the cloud a sharper outline, work around the inner edges with an eraser.

Just below the light circle, on its border, draw a dove with a 2B pencil, as shown in the picture, starting with the head and wing.

Draw the second wing and the body of the pigeon.

Use a white gel pen to mark the lightest areas of the drawing: a dove, highlights on a halo, sun, cloud. If you don't have a pen, just go over these areas again with a clean eraser.

How to draw an angel with pastels

What do you need

• Pastel paper;
• a set of pastels;
• simple HB pencil;
• a simple 8B pencil;
• blending stump or soft napkin.

How to draw

In the middle of a piece of paper, draw a circle with yellow pastel and paint over.

Draw another yellow circle outside the previous circle. Paint over too, but so that the outline of the first circle is a little guessed. Add an orange background along the outer path.

Feather, smoothing out the borders of yellow and orange.

Add a little red on top and blend thoroughly too. It should look like the warm colors of the rainbow.

Paint over the very first circle with white. When blending, mix with the yellow previously applied to this area. You should get a light yellow shade.

Draw some white concentric circles over the yellow and orange backgrounds and start drawing the angel. With the HB pencil, draw an arc just above the center of the background, this will be the top of the head.

Draw hair lines from the crown of the head and start drawing raised wings from them. They are arranged symmetrically, the upper wing line is almost straight, and separate feathers rise from it at approximately equal intervals. The lower line is strongly curved, the outlines of feathers are also visible on it, but they are more rounded. The wings rise above the crown of the head to about the height of the head itself. Their scope should occupy most of the picture, leaving only 2-3 centimeters of the background on the sides.

The dress of an angel goes down from the lower border of the wings. Define a curvature of the hips slightly wider than the head and a noticeably flared skirt.

Under the wings, draw the arms with curved, parallel lines drawn along the hips. Mark the ground under the border of the dress with black pastels. Blend.

Paint over the silhouette of the angel with either black pastel or an 8B pencil.
