1. Smart playlists

Where to listen: on the "Main" tab in the browser version of the service or in the application.

Smart playlists are built based on how you listen to music. Skips of tracks, likes, dislikes and even more subtle nuances like increasing the volume are taken into account. The service consists of four smart playlists.

Playlist of the day. This collection is updated every day. It can include both familiar to you and new tracks, selected on the basis of previous auditions.

2. Curated playlists

But if you are already accustomed to collecting the entire music library in the Yandex service, then you can “shazam” songs in it as well. The search results will automatically go to a separate "Recognized" playlist.

5. Listening history

How to view: in the section "My Music" → "History" in the browser version of the service.

Unfortunately, the extended listening statistics are not displayed here, but the last 2,000 songs are visible. This is useful if you liked the track from the recommendations, but did not have time to remember its name.

6. Collaborative playlists

How to use: go to the desired playlist in the browser version of the service, click on "…" and "Add co-author". The resulting link can be immediately shared in a convenient way.

A collective playlist is a compilation that you can put together with friends before a party or travel. You can add tracks both in the browser version and from the application.

7. Dark theme

How to turn on: in the browser version of the service or in the application, you need to go to the settings, select the "Other" section and switch the toggle switch opposite the "Dark theme" item.

Some people find dark interfaces prettier, others use them so as not to interfere with the ambient light of the smartphone, and users of devices with OLED screens save battery percentages.

8. Rating of performers
