1. Bang & Olufsen BeoSound Balance
BeoSound Balance uses seven drivers for omnidirectional sound output: two 133mm for bass, two 50mm full-range speakers, one 19mm tweeter for treble, and a pair of 76mm full-range for amplifying the audio signal. The Formation series speakers integrate into a wireless mesh network that is independent of Wi-Fi. The components of such a network work in the role of constantly synchronized receivers-transmitters with minimal delays - no more than 1 microsecond. In this case, the sound can be processed at a resolution of up to 24 bit / 96 kHz.
The speaker can be controlled using the touch buttons on the body and through the mobile application for iOS or Android. The Formation Wedge features a DSP for dynamic EQ and audio processing.
3. Bowers & Wilkins Formation Flex
The compact 100W 2-way speaker features a 100mm cone woofer for bass and midrange and a 25mm tweeter. The body is made of composite material and covered with fabric, which practically does not affect the sound.
Like the model above, the Formation Flex has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, supports aptX HD and AAC codecs, and works with Apple devices via AirPlay 2. It can be connected to a wireless mesh network, from a stereo pair or multi-room music system to a home theater with a subwoofer.
Dynamic EQ is provided for adjusting the sound. The device can be controlled using the buttons on the top of the case or via a mobile application.
4. Bose Home Speaker 300
The Bose Home Speaker 300 communicates with other devices via both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The speaker also supports AirPlay 2 and NFC. For voice control, compatibility with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa comes in handy. There are six microphones inside that pick up the voice even with loud music.
The compact bookshelf speaker delivers decent sound for its size with 360 ° bass in all directions. The main purpose of this model is to play music, podcasts and news programs in one or several rooms at once.
In the Bose Music app, multiple users can simultaneously select suitable sound settings, change stations, playlists and streaming services.
5. Denon Home 150
The compact wireless speaker from Denon uses an 89mm driver for bass and midrange and a 25mm tweeter. The total power of the model is 20 W.
For wireless connectivity and multi-room connectivity, the Denon Home 150 has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, as well as support for AirPlay 2 and Denon's proprietary HEOS technology. The column is capable of reproducing sound in High Resolution PCM and DSD formats.
The model is equipped with touch-sensitive buttons to control basic functions, and advanced settings are available in the Denon mobile app. The speaker is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Siri.
6. Yamaha MusicCast 20

The model can reproduce High Resolution Audio sound at a resolution of up to 24 bit / 192 kHz. To control the device, there are touch buttons on the body, as well as the Yamaha mobile app. The speaker can also be controlled using voice commands, via Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.
The MusicCast 20 and other MusicCast-enabled devices are not only multi-room compatible, but can also function as home theater speakers powered by compatible Yamaha AV receivers.
7. Harman / Kardon Citation 100 MKII
The 50W speaker has Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi for wireless connectivity. You can listen to the same or different music in rooms from your smartphone or tablet using the Citation Series acoustics. For content playback, there is also support for Chromecast and AirPlay 2 technologies.
The Citation 100 MKII can be operated using the buttons on the body or via the iOS and Android mobile app. In addition, the speaker is compatible with Google Assistant and provides voice control not only for music playback, but also, for example, components of a smart home.
