With these things, applying decorative plaster, sharpening drills, laying tiles and many other operations will become much easier.
1. Carrying straps
This piece will be useful to you even before the start of the renovation, in order to take all the furniture out of the room. Two sets of belts are put on the shoulders of you and your partner, after which it remains only to thread them under the sofa or wardrobe, lift the thing and take it out. Due to the even distribution of weight, the risk of injury to the back is significantly reduced, and it becomes much easier to carry loads.
2. Roller for imitation of a brick
Brickwork looks very cool in the interior, but it is not at all necessary to erect brick walls for design decoration. With such a shaped silicone roller, it is very easy to simulate masonry simply by rolling it with freshly applied plaster. And so that the mixture does not stick to the roller, you need to moisten it with soapy water or attach a thin plastic film to the wall.
3. Roller for imitation of wood
There are not so many ways to make the walls look like a wooden surface. The semicircular textured roller is one of the simplest. To use it, no special artistic talent is required: it is enough to apply plaster, and then roll it over the surface, gently pressing and turning it. This movement creates the texture of the wood quite realistically. All that remains is to paint the wall with one color and then with another to highlight the veins.
4. Drill sharpener
Few can boast of the ability to sharpen drills, but they are dull at all and always. If you do not want to suffer, but are not yet ready to master turning wisdom, use a special sharpener. With it, you can sharpen any drill from 3 to 12 mm as easily as a pencil. After installation in the hole corresponding to the size, turn on the machine for a few seconds, then turn the drill and repeat the procedure.
5. Angle adapter
Even with the smallest screwdriver, it is sometimes difficult to get to some places. The angled adapter makes this task quick and easy. Clamp the fixture into the chuck, insert the desired bit - and you can tighten or unscrew any screws, even in the most confined spaces. The adapter is available in two versions: short (60 mm) and long (140 mm).
6. Dust cover for drill
In the final stages of the repair, it is not so easy to drill a hole without staining the entire wall. A simple silicone accordion boot solves this problem. Put it on a punch or drill bit, press it against the wall and get to work. And at the end, gently pull back the device so as not to spill debris, and shake out its contents. For thin drills, the kit includes a sleeve that increases the diameter, preventing dust from falling out of the slot.
7. Magnetic bracelet
Fetching screws from a pocket or going down a ladder to get a drill is still a pleasure. But with such a magnetic bracelet, all the little things necessary for work will always be at hand. It adjusts comfortably to any wrist and locks in place with Velcro. The power of the magnets is more than enough for screws, nuts and even small tools like screwdrivers or keys.
8. Scissors with a protractor
When cladding walls and ceilings with plastic panels, it is often necessary to cut the rails at an angle of 45 °. If you do this inaccurately, there will be ugly cracks that ruin the whole work. To easily cut plastic at any angle and without unnecessary troubles, such scissors with markings and a guide will come in handy. Insert the profile, turn it at the desired angle, cut it off. Ready!
9. Joiner's miter box
With trimming platbands, things are exactly the same. It is quite difficult to saw them accurately at an angle of 45 ° without a special tool. When using a miter box, an excellent result is guaranteed. Set the workpieces, secure them with the built-in latches and cut with a hacksaw, inserting it into the groove corresponding to the desired angle. The lower surface of the miter box is non-slip, but if necessary, it can be fixed to the table with screws through the available holes.
10. Malka
Even an experienced craftsman does not succeed in trimming laminate or tiles adjacent to the walls by eye even the first time. But with such a template, even novice repairmen can measure the angles and transfer them to the workpiece without hassle. You just need to loosen the fastening screws, align the rulers along the contour of the abutments, and then fix the position of the template with screws and trace the part around it.
11. Needle pattern
For curvilinear trimming of facing materials in the area of pipes, door frames, columns and other obstacles, a needle template is useful. It is applied to the protruding or recessed part of the obstacle and copy it. After that, the resulting contour is attached to the tile or laminate and outlined with a pencil. Done: The trimmed piece fits perfectly in place.
12. Tile leveling system
Are you afraid to put the tiles crooked? Take advantage of these reusable wedges! After installation, they are inserted across the seam at each of the four corners of the tiles and tightened with a wrench. Due to this, the entire tile is aligned in one plane - there are no piled up or protruding tiles. After a couple of hours, until the glue has finally set, the wedges need to be unscrewed, turned and removed from the seams.
13. Stops for drywall
It is almost unrealistic to mount the ceiling from the gypsum plasterboard alone, but with this device it is quite possible to do without an assistant. Plastic stops are attached to the guides on both sides, then drywall is slipped under them. On the reverse side, the sheet is supported by hands, leveled and fixed with screws. After that, the stops are removed and the gypsum board is finally fixed.
14. Corner spatulas
Internal corners are the hardest part of plastering walls. It is very difficult to make an even, neat joint with an ordinary spatula. But with such a special tool, which has edges located strictly at 90 °, it will be much easier to form an angle. The set includes two pieces at once.
15. Sealant paddle set
Sealing bathtub or countertop joints with silicone sealant is an art form. The blades with different profiles from this set are designed to make it accessible to everyone. After abundant filling of the seam, it is enough to hold over it with a plastic tool, and the joint will turn out to be perfectly flat, without excess sealant. A little life hack: so that the silicone does not smear on the wall, spray the seam after filling with soapy water and only then smooth the sealant with a spatula.
