Pictures of nature and people with comments by their authors. It's worth seeing.
Meditation by David Symonds
On the streets of Tiruvannamalai in India, a market vendor takes a break, and with him his hardworking cow.
Horse Racing by Scott Barbour
General view during the fourth races. Melnburg Cup, Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne, November 5, 2019.
"Red-footed seagull swimming" by Simon Ranting
This young seagull had a wonderful time taking a bath and spraying water in all directions. Due to the fact that it was light enough for a short exposure, I was able to "freeze the water", so that the bird's head can be seen through the halo of spray.
Timid by Ilan Wittenberg
This portrait is part of the Maasai People From Here to Africa series.
Taranaki Volcano Eruption by Laurie Winter
The Milky Way rises above the Taranaki volcano on a cold May evening. The first photo I took after being in quarantine for more than two months, and then was restricted in movement. What could be better than this image of nature to understand how lucky we are? Eight photos are superimposed.
Pelican Owner by Tony Lowe
Photo taken in Entrance, New South Wales, Australia.
Iceberg Contours by Rob Weir
Filmed in East Greenland. Depicts a portion of a large iceberg, a small floating block of ice and its reflection.
On the Streets of Vienna by Gary White
A street scene in Vienna, filmed just before the dog got off the leash and made a mess.
Golden Glow - Annapurna South, Nepal by Jesse Little
Arriving at the last point for sunrise, we, to our disappointment, found that due to the morning fog, visibility was zero. Just as we began to joke about the trivial end of our incredible 18-day journey, the clouds parted, letting in a luxurious golden light that illuminated Annapurna South.
"Whisper", Alex Olguin
The bride and groom retreat for a moment amidst a room full of guests. Although such moments only last for a few seconds, the words spoken in whispers will remain in your memory forever.
