The process will take a minimum of time, but it will help save you money.
What is important to know
The subscription system is designed in such a way that after deleting the application in which you issued it, its effect does not stop. You will continue to be charged until you cancel your subscription.
Many applications offer a free trial period, but it should be understood that it is activated at the same time as the subscription, it is just that the payment does not start to be charged immediately.
If you just want to try a program, then after activating the test period it is better to immediately deactivate the subscription. After canceling the auto-renewal of the service, you will still be able to use paid functions - until the expiration of the previous period. For example, a free trial.
To protect yourself in the future, it is better to get a separate card for subscriptions (you can virtual) and pay for services from it. You can keep a small amount there or replenish only at the time of the next write-off. This way you will not spend too much, and if you forget about some kind of subscription, it will not be very big expenses.
How to turn off iPhone subscriptions
On iOS 13 and newer
If you have a smartphone with iOS 13 or later, go to Settings → Apple ID and select Subscriptions.
In the "Active" section, find the unnecessary subscription and select it. Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
Tap "Unsubscribe" and then "Confirm". Until the end of the validity period, the service will be displayed as active. To understand that it has been canceled and that money will not be withdrawn for it, you can check the "Expires …" mark.
On earlier versions of iOS
Here, subscription management is found in the store menu. Go to Settings → iTunes & App Store → Apple ID.
Select View Apple ID and go to Subscriptions.
In the "Active" section, find the service you want to disable and select it. Click the "Unsubscribe" button at the very bottom of the screen.
Confirm the action by tapping the button of the same name. Now the inscription "Ending …" will be displayed under the subscription. Until the specified date, paid features will continue to work, after which the subscription will close and no money will be withdrawn.
How to turn off subscriptions on an Android device
Launch Google Play and tap on your profile photo. Select "Payments and subscriptions" in the menu that opens.
Open the "Subscriptions" item. In the "Active" section, all currently active paid services will be displayed. Select the one you want to refuse.
Click "Unsubscribe", indicate any of the reasons for refusal and click "Continue".
Confirm the action by clicking "Unsubscribe". Now in the list of services, a corresponding mark with the date will appear under it. From this moment on, money will no longer be deducted from the card.
