A good game on the App Store is always a big deal, especially when it comes to the Tower Defense (TD) genre. Good strategies are few and far between TD fans. Unfortunately, they come out very rarely, and you have to wait for them for more than one year. Recently in the App Store, I came across a new strategy called Crazy Kings, but can it be on a par with Plants vs. Zombies, Kingdom Rush and Jelly Defense?

TD fans will have no trouble understanding the Crazy Kings rules. It features a classic set of towers: archers, mages and artillery. There is also a hero in the game who can be dressed up by adding power with a sword or protection thanks to armor.

Upgrading towers happens in an atypical way. Each of them is made in the form of a card, and in order to bring the tower to a new level, you need to combine cards of the same type. It takes a little time, but it can be shortened by using crystals.

There are a lot of enemies. Each of them can be found in a special tab. And for each of them it is worth picking up certain towers. As with any TD game, your task is to try not to let a single enemy pass through the gate.

And all would be fine if during the game I had the feeling that I had already seen it all. And in one of my favorite games, the best TD of all time. And the characters are drawn in a similar manner, and the encyclopedia of enemies is present, the gate, the hero - everything here resembles Kingdom Rush! Crazy Kings is her pale counterpart. The game is simple, drawn characters are flat, there is no that sparkling humor and variety of towers.

But the most annoying thing about the game is the energy required to complete the levels. It constantly ends, and you have to wait several hours for it to replenish again. A monstrous move that can ruin any TD!

All in all, Crazy Kings isn't the best Tower Defense I've ever played. It is unlikely that it will catch fans of famous strategies, but it may appeal to beginners who are taking their first steps in games of this genre. Try and draw conclusions!
