If you used Nokia phones a few years ago, then you probably remember Nokia Maps - an excellent mapping service that was still one of the best back then. Soon it was renamed and divided into HERE Maps and HERE Drivewhich have long been exclusive to the Windows Phone platform and are some of the reasons to use it.

The Android version of the maps is still as good as the original version for Nokia smartphones. Voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation is available even offline. Your itinerary and arrival time can be shared via email or messages. Accurate and detailed maps with 3D models, traffic tracking functions and up-to-date public transport data are available in more than 100 countries, including Ukraine and Russia.

By the way, the Android application HERE has received support from Glympse, with the help of which it is even more convenient to report your location and arrival time. All you need to do is to hold your finger on the desired place on the map, press the Share button, select recipients and specify the time after which you will be there. You can also add a message if you want. After clicking Send, all recipients will be able to track your movement along the route, the details that you have specified, and the time of arrival. If you are planning a trip, you can save the places and sights of interest to you in advance - when there is no internet at hand, HERE will come in handy.

HERE is available now for free on Google Play. As for iOS, Apple owners will be able to try navigation in action early next year.
