One of the foundations of GTD is all kinds of to-do lists. In "paper GTD" you just have to accustom yourself to painstaking drawing up of plans and that's it - it works. If you use software or the Internet to compile lists, then there is a variety of approaches. But since most users now use browsers instead of office applications, why not bring to-do lists to the browser? And now we will try to do this using plugins for one of the most convenient and fast browsers - Google Chrome.
Installation
Extensions or extensions for Google Chrome do not work with the standard version of the browser. In order to use the extensions, you need to install the beta version, that is, the version for developers of plugins and other extensions. Don't worry, this version works stably. You can download it, for example, here, because the link from the Google Chrome Extensions page leads to nowhere.
Task List
This plugin gives you access to Google Tasks directly from your browser. Appearing in Chrome with a checkmark in the extensions bar, this plugin, by clicking on it, simply opens your task list in Google Task. The list opens in a small new window without minimizing the current browser page.
ToodleChrome
Toodle service plugin. Online task lists, for those who are also not going to leave the page opened in the browser. To start using it, you need to enter your username and password from the service in the extension settings. I also recommend choosing the display as "Gmail (Mini Version)". You can use OpenID as a login.
Checkvist
Unlike the previous ones, this plugin works with task lists. After installation, you need to open the Chekvist service through the plugin and register there. The two minutes that this process will take from you is worth it. By clicking on the plugin icon, you can create back sheets right in the browser, mark completed tasks, and so on. With Checkvist, you can, for example, create daily task lists.
ChromeMilk
A plugin for the famous Remember The Milk service. Perhaps the most beautiful and user-friendly in the review. The only problem with ChromeMilk is the amount of settings. The extension settings are quite confusing, but all you need to do is enter the login and password for your RTM account, synchronize the plugin with your account. And that's all, you can work with Remember The Milk without leaving your browser in a separate minimalistic window.
