The goal of Hangouts Meet is to make video communication as productive as if you were talking face-to-face. Google has simplified the app's interface and implemented smart group video call management.

You can invite up to 30 participants to a Hangouts Meet video conference by sending the invitation by mail or by leaving a link in Calendar (a shared team scheduler).

You don't need to have a Google account to participate in a video chat - a link with an invitation is enough. Hangouts Meet chats are available on all devices: smartphones, tablets, PCs.

Hangouts Chat resembles a corporate Slack planner: the program has virtual rooms for managing individual projects and tracking team productivity. Chat syncs with Google Drive and Google Docs, so you can open media files without going to other applications. Google also simplified the content search system in dialogs (the program remembers everything that you talked about and what you shared from the first day of the project).

Hangouts Chat allows you to implement bots and install third-party programs to extend the platform's functionality and adapt it to the needs of an individual business or project.

You can download Hangouts Meet from the link below, or wait a few weeks for an over-the-air update. Hangouts Chat is still being tested - for trial access to the platform, you need to apply for the Early Adopter Program.
