The Crew 2 looks great, so it lives up to its graphical requirements.

The game does not slow down, even if you run it from a regular hard drive, and not from an SSD. True, there are a couple of minor flaws in it. For example, the need to use the F10 key instead of Esc to exit to the main menu and the inability to control the map with the mouse. However, despite this, The Crew 2 is one of the most optimized projects from Ubisoft.

2. City of Brass

Action-adventure from the authors of BioShock with randomly generated Arabic-style locations. The game works well even on dual-core processors, but still performs better on quad-core ones. There is no particular sense in greater performance: for example, the difference when using four- and six-core processors is only 10 frames per second.

The project can be played comfortably even on relatively inexpensive video cards - for example, on the Radeon RX 580. Having launched City of Brass, you are unlikely to encounter any errors or problems in mouse operation. This is a perfectly optimized game that is suitable even for a not-new PC.

3. F1 2018

A racing simulator that needs no introduction. The game does not require a high-performance processor, but the same cannot be said for a video card.

On a GeForce GTX 980 Ti, the project runs smoothly at 1,080p, while the Radeon RX Vega 64 does an excellent job at 1,440p. Among other things, the F1 2018 maintains steering wheels and does not suffer from sticks.

4. Strange Brigade

Co-op third-person shooter in which you have to fight various mythological creatures and solve puzzles. The game cannot boast of stunning graphics of the level of AAA-class projects, but on the PC it works just gorgeous. Even when there are many enemies in the field of view, and the configuration of the computer leaves much to be desired.

There are enough settings in the game that allow you to tailor the performance to almost any car - not even a completely new one. At the same time, even at maximum settings, the project does not require either a flagship processor or an expensive video card.

Since Strange Brigade has tremendous graphical potential, it would benefit from support for real-time ray tracing technology. This would greatly improve the lighting in particular and the overall look of the project.

5. Warhammer: Vermintide 2

A co-op action movie like Left 4 Dead 2 set in a dark fantasy universe. On computers, it works and looks just fine.

This is one of the few projects that makes full use of more than four processor threads. The game has a whole bunch of graphical settings, so you can get it to run smoothly on almost any PC. Mouse control is also well implemented.

6. Shadow of the Tomb Raider

The last part of the adventures of the fearless tomb raider Lara Croft, although demanding on the computer, fully justifies it. Plus, the game performs significantly better than its predecessor, Rise of the Tomb Raider.

There are many settings in the project, it is possible to disable the anti-aliasing of mouse movements, which many do not like - it is enabled by default. And Shadow of the Tomb Raider is one of the few games that shows huge performance gains when using DirectX 12.

A well-known football simulator, which is one of the most high-quality optimized sports games in principle. The project shows itself very well in various assemblies and looks gorgeous.

The only drawback of FIFA 19 is the meager set of graphical settings and the inability to change them right during the game - you have to go out and make changes through a special utility. Otherwise, this is a great example of how to optimize projects for the PC.

8. Forza Horizon 4

Excellent arcade racing game that produces 60 frames per second even on not the most powerful computers. There are many settings, thanks to which you can squeeze the maximum out of the project without any problems, even on an average PC.

It is convenient to play both on the keyboard and using the steering wheel. In our opinion, Forza Horizon 4 is by far the prettiest racing game for PC.

9. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

The last part of the super popular series of shooters - for the first time without a storyline, but with a battle royale mode. Black Ops 4 works well on a wide variety of PC configurations. It has a wide range of settings and does not suffer from crashes.

It is worth noting that visually, the game is not as breakthrough as some other parts of Call of Duty were at one time. Nevertheless, the project is perfectly optimized and at the same time looks good, and this is the main thing.

10. Battlefield 5

Call of Duty's main competitor and arguably the most optimized game of the year. It has a bunch of graphics settings, support for high resolutions and scan rates, and beautiful graphics. At the same time, the project runs smoothly even on not the most powerful computers.

Despite the fact that DICE and NVIDIA have made great progress in terms of optimizing the latest graphics technologies, on DirectX 12 the game is not yet as fast as on DirectX 11. Moreover, when using the ray tracing effect, the number of frames per second can sag even on the flagship video cards.
