It would seem that getting out of bed and pressing the computer's power button is completely easy. But still, it takes up precious time that could be spent over a cup of coffee: you have to wait for the system to boot up, and then enter the password. Fortunately, this process can be automated.

First, you need to go into BIOS and find the section related to power consumption. It can be called Power, Power-on Menu or, for example, Power Scheduling. Alternatively, you will see a setting called Power On By RTC or Resume by Alarm. It all depends on the motherboard manufacturer.

If you find such a menu - it may not exist at all - you can choose the time to automatically turn on the computer. Chances are, you can even customize which days the system should boot itself. When done, save your changes and restart your computer.

Now all that remains is to turn off the password entry screen - you hardly need it at home. Open Windows search and type netplwiz, run the program that appears and uncheck the "Require username and password" checkbox. Then enter your password and save the settings.

Ready! Now the computer will turn on itself in the morning. If you have a bright enough screen, it might even serve as an alarm clock for you.
