The standard iOS functionality is limited to saving images from web pages in Safari. But thanks to iOS 12 quick commands, you can download various media from social networks, including videos and animations.

What commands are needed

Most files can be downloaded using the versatile Social Media Downloader command. For specific needs, such as converting YouTube videos to audio or importing music from WhatsApp, there are separate commands that can also come in handy.

  • Social Media Downloader - download media files from YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and other social networks.
  • Youtube Converter - download videos from YouTube, Vimeo or Twitter with the ability to convert to MP3.
  • InstaSave - download original photos and videos from Instagram using a link from the clipboard.
  • Export Music from WA - download audio files from WhatsApp.
  • File Downloader - download any files by link from the clipboard.

To do this, you need to go from an iOS device using one of the links above.

For example, for Social Media Downloader, click on this link and click on the Get Quick Command button. If you want the files to be saved automatically, write the number 0 in the field and click on the arrow. Then select the interface language. For English, you need to drive in 0 again and double-click "Continue". This completes the setup process.

Other commands are added in approximately the same way: after clicking on the link, you need to give the necessary permissions, select the settings and confirm the addition.
