Using cheap tripods is a great way to get stability while shooting without additional equipment. But there is a more sophisticated and cheaper fixture for stability, and a much more "pocket".
To make such a tripod, you will need:
- plywood;
- rope;
- elastic;
- bolt;
- tools with which you can work with wood.
Cut a piece of plywood 9mm thick and tighten a bolt in the center of it.
Nylon rope is passed through a hole in the block and wrapped around a piece of plywood to avoid tangling during storage and handling.
When your pocket tripod is ready, the end of the bolt is inserted into the camera tripod hole, the main thing is to get a rigid mount.
When you need to take a photo, you unwind the rope, insert a block into the camera and make a triangle out of the rope, as shown in the photo below.
The pocket tripod does not take up much space, is great for travel and helps you take good photos.
