The mechanisms of modern faucets allow you to open them in one motion, but you still have to touch them with dirty hands. With the Autowater adapter, any tap can be turned on and off automatically without touching it at all.

The nozzle is attached to the place of the standard aerator using one of six adapters, depending on the design of the mixer. Inside the Autowater is a valve and aerator for oxygenating the water, LED lights that automatically turn on in the dark, and infrared sensors that control the flow.

The adapter can work in two modes. In the first, the tap opens when you bring your hands or other object to it, and automatically closes when you remove your hands. The second is intended for a longer activation: it turns on if you move your hand next to the side face of the Autowater. In this mode, water will flow for 45 seconds for the kitchen model or 3 minutes for the bathroom version.

In addition, the adapter is equipped with a motion sensor that activates the LED backlighting in the dark, eliminating the need to turn on the main lighting. You can choose from seven illumination colors as desired.

Autowater is powered by a built-in battery, which will have to be charged once every 8–12 months using a complete charger with a magnetic connector. It is not necessary to remove the adapter from the mixer.

You can order this adapter on Indiegogo for $ 59. Delivery will begin in February.
