Celebrating Safer Internet Day 2015, Google is giving away 2GB of free space to existing Google Drive storage.
You just need to check the basic security parameters of your Google Account: phone and mail for password recovery, secret question (sorry, without a screenshot), view the latest logins (whether all of yours), check which devices have access to your account, and two-level authentication passwords, if you use one.
The described actions must be completed by February 17 this year. It is up to this date that the offer is valid.
Please note that in its official blog Google explains that additional space will be automatically added on February 28, 2015, and the participants of the promotion will be separately notified of this by letter.
Google Apps for Work and Google Apps for Education users are not eligible for this promotion.
Google promises everyone who has gone through the above procedure, on February 28, send an email with a message that the space has been increased by 2 GB. On the same day, in fact, there will be an increase in the capacity of your account.
