The four-story house was designed by Tokyo-based Hiroyuki Shinozaki Architects in 2012. Since then, a couple of people have lived in it. with a total area of 70 m2 it turned out to be so extraordinary that the nickname "house of the ninja" quickly stuck to it. Indeed, moving between the tiers and rooms of House T will not work without the proper dexterity and courage. There are no usual walls, doors and stairs - only openings, mobile ladders and stepladders.

On the first floor there is a living room, on the second there are four living quarters, above there are a kitchen, a dining room, a bedroom. Although the division itself is very arbitrary. Open space allows you to change the functional purpose of the rooms at the discretion of the owners. From the upper tier, you can get to the roof of House T, which, by the way, is literally squeezed between two other adjacent buildings.

Even an unremarkable barrack can become unique if you put a creative hand on it. Proof of this is a dilapidated 70-year-old building in the middle of the California desert, which sparkled with incredible colors after the simple manipulations of the architect Phillip Smith III. The American just overlaid the hut with mirrored panels, obtaining the effect of translucency.

Once, New Zealand designer Jono Williams wanted to get a little closer to the indescribable beauty of his homeland. At first he planned a tree house, but a little later the idea seemed to the young man too commonplace. As a result, he designed a high-tech structure that looks like a cross between a tree and an observation deck.

consists of a metal "trunk" and a glass "socket". Inside there is only one circular bedchamber with multi-colored lighting, a refrigerator, wireless acoustics and an electronic door with a fingerprint scanner. All of these fancy gizmos are controlled from a smartphone and powered by energy stored in solar panels. There is no toilet, but there is a forest nearby.

See how a home is built where ball games are not only allowed, but encouraged. And all because it was built for the needs of the future Japanese basketball player. The central area of the house is occupied by a playing area one quarter of a standard basketball court. The ring is fixed at a height of 3.05 m - everything is as it should be. The ceiling height is 6 m, which is more than enough for long throws. There are rooms along the perimeter of the two-story building, which are protected from accidental hits by a ball using a metal mesh.

Of course, the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms could have been larger, but even this size is quite enough for a comfortable stay.

The mountain climbers' shelter was built on the Slovenian Mount Scoot. The small but very cozy shelter consists of three sections and can warm up to eight people. In addition to sleeping places, there is a kitchen and a living room. Metal rock anchorage, concrete walls and triple glazing handle snow drifts and high winds with ease. It was erected in one day with the help of 60 volunteers and an army helicopter. This is how it was.

Amazing place among the clouds. Who owns the house and where to look for the keys from it is difficult to say.
