Acroyoga is a pair yoga that combines elements of yoga, acrobatics and healing arts. During the session, one of the partners acts as a support, and the second moves from one position to another practically in the air, relying only on the other person. The founders of this style of yoga are Mexican Jason Nemer and American Jenny Sauer-Klein. If the partners are experienced and feel good about each other, from the side of their actions they look something incredible, as if they had attended an acrobat show at Cirque du Soleil.

The essence of acroyoga is to be in the “moment” and in balance with the other person.

There are three roles in acroyoga: base (base), pilot, and belayer.

The foundationis the person who has the most points of contact with the ground or the floor. The main points of contact with a partner pilot are the feet and hands. The foundation is the embodiment of stability, stability.

Pilot- this is the person who, in fact, flies, that is, makes a series of poses in the air, smoothly passing from one to another. He is the embodiment of freedom, dynamism and balance.

Belayeris a person who watches over both partners. His task is to ensure their safety and to pick up the pilot in case of danger.

Contraindications: problems with the musculoskeletal system (joint problems) and high blood pressure.
