Nimbatus is a drone engineer simulator recently added to Steam Early Access. The main feature of the game is the ability to create your own spaceships from more than 100 types of parts. The available items include not only weapons, batteries and engines, but also sensors (for example, temperature and altitude), magnets and logical operators.

You can build both a fully autonomous robot and a controlled one by assigning keys to certain actions. You will have to start with small drones, but as the game progresses, more and more opportunities will appear: after a few hours, the user will be able to create entire mobile factories that build themselves.

The main goal in Nimbatus is to explore a procedurally generated galaxy. This is a dangerous activity, because the fauna of the planets is often hostile, and sometimes they are also protected by aliens. So drones need to be equipped with weapons: lasers, flamethrowers and rocket launchers. Each cannon can be fine-tuned: choose an element (fire, cold, acid, and so on) and several upgrades that are responsible for the behavior of the gun - how wide is the spread, whether the shells ricochet and so on.

Nimbatus is still in Early Access, but it already has enough content to keep itself busy for a few hours. In the future, the developers promise to add even more types of parts and planets, as well as competitive modes: arena battles and speed races.

The game can be purchased on Steam for 435 rubles. Until October 10, there is a 10% discount.
