The author of the Telegram channel made a selection of tasks specially for Lifehacker that are not so easy to cope with. Check if you can find the correct answers.

A glass of water weighs 9 kg. Let the glass weigh X, and the water in the glass weigh Y, then X + Y = 9. We know that a half-empty glass weighs two empty ones, therefore X + Y / 2 = 2X. Then Y = 2X. Substitute the Y value in the original equation: X + 2X = 9, we get 3X = 9. X = 3. Answer: 3 kg.
