Your gadget may have apps designed just for you. To protect them from strangers, it is not at all necessary to completely block access to the device with a password. These blockers will only help you protect the programs you choose.
1. App Lock
One of the simplest blockers without unnecessary settings and functions. Protects application logins with a password, fingerprint (if available), or pattern. To prevent protection from triggering too often, you can set up a re-blocking timer.
Although App Lock warns that it contains ads, no ads have appeared during the testing of the free version. If they bother you, you can get rid of ads and thank the developers through a one-time payment.
2. App Locker
Like the previous blocker, App Locker belongs to the simplest programs in its category. It also supports three security options: password, fingerprint (if the device has a scanner), and pattern. Optionally, you can choose a color scheme for the interface.
App Locker will display ads on the app lock screen. You can remove ads by purchasing the paid version of the application.
3. AppLock
In addition to protecting applications with a password or pattern, AppLock can be a vault for photos and videos. You can get access to them only by unlocking the program. Moreover, in AppLock, you can configure profiles to quickly manage groups of programs. In these functions, the application resembles Hexlock.
AppLock can block access to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and auto sync switches. The program also has advanced security settings. These include the display of a system error message when entering locked applications, the invisibility of the AppLock icon, and the constant changing of the positions of the numbers on the password entry screen. These options will help confuse an attacker.
In addition, AppLock has a large selection of lock screen themes.
4. Vault
The most functional blocker in this collection. Vault locks apps with a password and acts as an encrypted vault for media, contacts, and SMS. For reliability, the program stores a backup copy of the data entrusted to it in the cloud. Inside Vault, there is a browser in which you can save and use web bookmarks, hiding them from prying eyes.
The free version of the ad blocker contains restrictions and is filled with ads. But the app has a paid subscription to the premium mode. Subscribers are not shown ads, they are provided with additional functions and bonuses: more space in the cloud, hiding the Vault icon, activating the camera during unsuccessful unlock attempts.
