Hello. Faced with my mother with such a problem that my younger sister does not want to study at all. He only wants to play around and play, surf the Internet. When it comes to lessons - tears, psychos, phrases “I don’t want to, I will not teach this”. And you will not interest her in anything: neither motivation (to buy something), nor a promise to take her somewhere. But she's only in third grade. What can we do to still interest her in learning? After all, we do not want to force her from time to time - so you can completely discourage all the desire to learn. Thank you in advance.

Hello! I want to say that the child is not the only one to blame for this problem. A variety of factors can influence his attitude towards learning - for example, the atmosphere in the classroom or the work of the teacher in the classroom. Therefore, I advise you to figure out where the negative to study comes from.

Talk to the class teacher, ask how your child behaves in different lessons - in which he actively works, and in which he does not show interest. Be sure to test the waters: maybe the child has a conflict with the homeroom teacher, so there is automatically a negative attitude towards everything related to school.

Interest in the subject and study in general depends on how the teacher behaves, how he presents the material. It's like serving food in a restaurant. You can take out the food piled on an ugly plate, or you can make an interesting composition out of them and arrange the serving in such a way that anyone will be surprised.

Even if the dish does not consist of favorite ingredients (for example, many students do not like to count, write or do needlework), it can still be spectacular and should be remembered for a long time. Lessons should be like that.

One of the good ways to hook you with your studies is to try to transfer your study interest into extracurricular activities. Participate in a project related to some lesson, or in a competition, festival. Begin to participate more actively in class and school life.

But I do not recommend motivating a child with material things - toys, and even more so with money. This will develop a wrong attitude towards learning. I advise you to choose as a reward something that can be valuable for your child - the opportunity to make some kind of discovery, become the best in the class, learn a topic in such a way that you can help a friend or girlfriend.

You need to observe the child and respond quickly to what can fuel his interest in knowledge. Be attentive and patient, and everything will work out!
