Don't waste time on unnecessary actions.

Data protection is important when unauthorized persons have access to your computer. But if you are sure that intruders will not get to your PC, this guide will help you set up a quick login without a password.
First, figure out which account you are using: a local or online Microsoft profile. Click "Start" → "Options" → "Accounts". If you're signed in with a Microsoft account, you'll see an email next to your username. Otherwise, the inscription "Local account" will be displayed here.

How to disable password when logging into a local account
Open the Start menu and go to Settings → Accounts → Login Options. Then select "Password" and click "Change". If instead of a password you use, for example, a PIN code or a pattern, first click on the appropriate item and disable the current protection method, and then click "Password" → "Change".

Enter the current password, in the next window leave all fields blank and click "Next" and then "Finish". This will disable Windows logon protection.

How to turn off your password when you sign in to your Microsoft account
Open your account settings. To do this, use the Win + R key combination, enter the netplwiz command in the line that appears and press Enter.

When the account manager window appears, highlight the current profile in the list and disable the "Require username and password" option. Click OK.

In the next window, enter the email address of your Microsoft account in the "User" field, as well as the current password from it and its confirmation in the corresponding fields. Click OK and restart your computer just in case.

After that, the system will stop asking for a password when entering.
If you don't want Windows to ask for a password when it wakes up from sleep mode, click Start and go to Settings → Accounts → Login Options. Under Login Required, select Never.
