Wide, washed and patched - the fashion for denim this year tends to a certain anarchy.
1. Elongated jeans
This is a challenge to cropped pants that have been on trend for several seasons. Classic jeans, ankle-length and longer, accordion-fitting over sneakers or boots were popular in the 1990s. And now they are returning triumphantly.
This length is hardly suitable for skinny and tight models. Therefore, choose options for a straight or wide cut.
2. Baggy jeans
Oversized has been all over the place for the past couple of years, and jeans are no exception. Loose, as if bought for growth, models may look too informal. However, this rebellious style, as the designers predict, will penetrate even offices and classrooms in the new season.
If you want to take advantage of the comfort that baggy jeans provide, but don't want to look like a young skater, choose the rest of your clothing wisely. For example, pair these pants with a carefully ironed neutral tee. Or choose a stylish shirt - striped or other geometric print.
3. Indigo jeans
Indigo is a denim color classic. Let it be forgotten under the pressure of light blue, faded, worn, gray and black models. And this season, indigo returns to the top.
What cut, fit and length you choose does not matter at all: if the jeans are in an intense dark blue, you are already on the crest of a fashionable wave.
4. White jeans
Option for the most stylish and (in a whisper) neat. Snow-white denim looks very foppish and can give a distinct relaxed resort feel to even a restrained office look. These jeans are best paired with open sandals or shoes - for example, brogues - worn on bare feet.
5. Skinny jeans
Wide enough at the hips and above the knee and tapering towards the foot - these jeans do not hinder movement and fit perfectly on the leg. Nothing special, except that this versatile model is one of the key must-haves of the season.
Skinny jeans can be paired with anything from T-shirts and T-shirts to leather jackets and jackets. From shoes paired with such denim, sneakers and boots in a sporty style look best.
6. Jeans with a high rise
If the belt of your jeans is located strictly at the waist and not a centimeter lower, you, obviously, have chosen a trendy model.
Note that this fit visually lengthens your legs. Therefore, jeans with a high waist are better suited for men of small stature. Those who are above average should look for another model. Or at least not tucking a T-shirt into your pants.
7. Washed jeans
Perhaps you have such - faded and lost their original color after hundreds of washes. Then congratulations: you don't have to spend money on a new denim. If there are no washed jeans in your wardrobe, it makes sense to get such a model. Shabby jeans are universal: they can be worn for a walk, and for a lecture, and on a date, and even in the office, if there is no strict dress code.
To make sure your faded look is trendy, wear chukka boots or retro sneakers underneath your jeans.
8. Jeans with decorative patches
Ripped pants are still in vogue. But a fresh tendency is also gaining momentum - to hide cuts (sometimes not existing) under decorative patches.
Please note: there should not be too many patches, otherwise noble jeans will look like frivolous patchwork pants. Ideally, the overlay fabric will only slightly differ from the base fabric in texture or color.
