During the game, the child, without noticing it, learns the world and learns new things. But which games should parents choose? Books by psychologist Madeleine Deny, which she publishes, will help both entertain the child and develop his abilities, including memory, attention and fine motor skills. The article contains several ideas for educational games with a baby.

How to learn numbers in the game

Madeleine Denis advises to memorize each number from 1 to 10 by sight, hearing and touch. Therefore, in developmental books, Madeleine has a whole set of exercises for each of the 10 numbers.

  • Write the number first. Ask your child to remember what she looks like.
  • Then move on to the number painted with shiny paint that is rough to the touch. The kid can stroke it with a finger and remember the spelling tactilely.
  • Next to the number 1, draw an object, such as a cake with 1 candle.
  • The numbers are well remembered for dominoes. There is only 1 black circle on a white background.
  • Write number 1 with the word "one". This will help the child to read numbers correctly in the future.
  • Ask your child to show the number 1 on his fingers.
  • Ask your child to use his finger to lead a path where 1 flower, 1 person, 1 animal meet.

How to prepare your hand for writing

Draw circles of different colors at the bottom of the page. Ask your child to draw lines up from these circles, choosing pencils of appropriate colors

  • Drawings. You can draw a lamb, and ask the child to "heat up" curly wool on its back. Or paint the hair of the little man you draw. Or zebra stripes, or rainbows.
  • Start drawing a pattern (the simplest one), and let the child continue the pattern line and finish drawing to the end of the sheet.

We develop logical thinking

Draw several geometric shapes on a piece of paper: circle, square, triangle, rectangle. Ask your child to draw a house, a car, or something else from these geometric shapes.

Learning to distinguish emotions

  • You only need to draw many circles or ovals. And ask the child to draw eyes, eyebrows, mouth, nose to each "face". Let the child color all the little people in different ways and say which of them is frowning, and who is smiling, who is happy and who is sad.
  • Offer the child different situations, and let him pretend how he feels. A dog barks at you, what will you do? You got a big gift, how will you react? You stumbled, what's next? The boy took your ball, what will you do?

Developing imagination

Ask your child to fill the entire page with “soap bubbles”, that is, sketch it with circles. Now let him add anything to these circles to make, for example, butterfly wings, flowers, candy canes, and so on.

Train your memory

Take any loto, any cards with images, for example, animals. Spread them out in front of the child. Now ask him to turn away, cover one of the animals with your palm, and let the child look and remember who is missing.

Learning colors

Draw different objects (like vegetables), but color them only halfway. The child should paint the second half of the drawing.

We develop fine motor skills

You will need a blank sheet of paper, paint and fingers. Have a child dip their fingers in paint and make fingerprints on paper. You can draw different patterns with your fingers. You can also paint your palm, print it on a sheet of paper, and then finish painting the picture, turning the palm print into an octopus, spider or swan.

We develop rhythm and motor skills

Let the kid dance. The rules are as follows: you clap your hands at different rates, and the child takes a step for each clap. When you clap slowly, he takes big strides. The faster the pace, the smaller the steps.

Game for attention and perception

Show your child pictures or photographs of different objects. If what is in the picture smells good, have your child pretend to inhale deeply. If it smells bad, use your fingers to cover the nose.

We also learn to distinguish between soft and hard. If the picture shows something soft, the picture should be ironed. If something is hard or prickly, you need to pull your finger back.
