Shao Kahn, the Nameless King and Mike Tyson - battles with these opponents make even the most talented gamers sweat.
1. Sephiroth - Kingdom Hearts
Sephiroth is one of the most powerful villains in the Kingdom Hearts series. In the first part, he acts as a secret boss - that is, the player may not even meet him. But if you still want to fight him, then you will find one of the most difficult battles in the entire franchise.
In the behavior of Sephiroth, it seems that all the most terrible traits of bosses are collected. He loves to suddenly teleport to the opposite corner of the arena or directly to the player, floods everything around him with fire when the hero gets close, his attacks are fast and cause huge damage. He also has six health bars.
2. Shao Kahn - Mortal Kombat 2
The Emperor of the Outside World is the main antagonist of the second part of the famous fighting game. The player meets him when he reaches the end of an arcade or story mode. In both cases, defeating Shao Kahn is not easy.
According to the game, he has the power of a god. But in fact, the villain simply blocks almost all the enemy's attacks in time and rams him with his shoulder at any opportunity, taking away almost a third of the health bar with one blow. And you have to either use all your skills, or just score it, without stopping repeating one or two hits.
3. The Nameless King - Dark Souls 3
The Nameless King is a very dangerous opponent. First, he sits on a huge dragon. Secondly, the dragon breathes fire. Thirdly, the king himself throws lightning.
Before you fight directly with the boss, you need to kill his "pet". This task alone can take a long time: the dragon and the rider are able to lay the player down with a couple of hits, even if his bar of life takes up half the screen.
The king is even more troublesome. He hits fast and almost always in streaks - a real test of the player's reaction.

4. Nemesis - Resident Evil 3
Nemesis is something like a Frankenstein monster, only controlled by a parasitic virus. A huge humanoid mass of pieces of meat that hunts the main characters of Resident Evil 3 and stops at nothing.
The player encounters Nemesis multiple times, and these encounters always end in a difficult fight. This boss loves to take heroes by the neck and throw them on the floor. After each such blow, the protagonist needs time to recover, which is enough for Nemesis to come closer and grab the hero again. And at the end of the game, the boss generally mutates into a huge biomass that needs to be blown up.
5. Mike Tyson - Punch-Out
Boxing game for Dendy just couldn't help but turn out to be difficult, but the last boss in Punch-Out !! goes over all possible boundaries. Mike Tyson knocks out a player with just a few punches, and he himself revives after each depletion of the health bar. One of the few ways to defeat a boxer is to damage him until the gong sounds.
6. Orphan Scythe - Bloodborne
Orphan Kosa is a huge creepy old baby who uses his own placenta as a weapon. The player encounters him at the end of The Old Hunters expansion for Bloodborne. The battle with the Orphan takes place in two stages: first, he moves on the ground and hits mainly close, and then grows wings.
The situation is complicated by the fact that in each phase the boss uses about 20 different hits, each of which must be memorized in order to defeat.

7. Yellow Demon - Mega Man
This is a boss made of shape memory metal. He guards one of the fortresses in the original Mega Man.
His weapon is an eye emitting lasers. But the Demon does not use it often. Most of all, the boss annoys the player with his ability to be divided into 19 parts, which move one by one to the other side of the screen. Dodging them is not easy because they move quickly and there is limited room to maneuver.
8. Senator Armstrong - Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
The main villain of the famous slasher in the Metal Gear universe is the American Senator Armstrong. He did a lot of bad things in the game, including selling street children for organs. The main character - Raiden - could not leave these crimes without attention, so he got along with Armstrong in a fight.
And this is the most difficult battle in the game. First, the senator tries to kill Raiden with the help of a huge insect-like robot, and then he himself joins the battle. Armstrong's body is reinforced with nanomachines, so the main character's sword does almost no damage to him. In addition, the boss attacks almost non-stop, leaving only a small window for counterattacks.

Lady Comstock is the late wife of BioShock Infinite's main villain. When the heroes get to her coffin, she suddenly turns into a ghost and begins to attack the player with the help of ghost soldiers.
To defeat the boss chaotically flying around the cemetery, you need to release several clips into him, while simultaneously fighting off the soldiers and trying not to die. This battle makes many people sweat, but it also has a positive side - after Lady Comstock, the rest of the battles seem to be an easy walk.

10. Ornstein the Dragonslayer and Executioner Smaug - Dark Souls
Ornstein and Smaug are the guards of Princess Guinevere's quarters from the first part of Dark Souls. By themselves, they are no more dangerous than any other boss in the game, but the problem is that the guards attack the player at the same time. Ornstein swiftly moves around the arena and throws at the lightning hero, while Smaug delivers slow but powerful strikes.
And when the player manages to defeat one of them, the second absorbs the power of the fallen comrade, restores health and acquires new abilities. Ornstein grows to gigantic proportions, and Smaug begins to strike with lightning. The battle with any of them is a test of the player's skills.
